Privacy Policy — Wallet Info

Effective date: 27 October 2026

Wallet Info is a personal money-tracking app for Android. It is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what that means for your data.

The short version

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter — accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, people and loan records, and your settings — is stored in a database on your device only. The developer has no access to it and no copy of it.

Backups you create

The app can export a backup file when you ask it to. That file is created on your device and goes only where you choose to save or share it (for example, your files, email, or a cloud drive you pick). The app does not upload it anywhere on its own. Restoring reads a backup file you select.

Android device backup

Android may include the app's data in your device's own backup (for example, the Google backup of your phone) if you have that turned on in your phone's settings. That backup is handled by Android and Google under your Google account and Google's privacy policy; it is not sent to the developer.

Permissions

The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files beyond a file you explicitly pick for a backup restore.

Deleting your data

Your data stays on your device, so you are in full control. Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Settings → Apps → Wallet Info → Storage → Clear storage, to delete everything. Any backup files you exported are yours to keep or delete.

Children

Wallet Info is a general money-management app intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new effective date. Because the app collects no data, any change will be described in the app's release notes as well.
